Laid to Rest, a movie about a girl who wakes up in a coffin and has no idea where she is or who she is. Turns out she was put there by a serial killer named Chrome Skull, who has his name on the license plate of his car, which I found to be HILARIOUS! Anyway, I wasn't a big fan of the lead actress but I did however like a couple of the supporting actors so they made the movie tolerable. After doing an always reliable IMDB search of the lead actress Bobbi Sue Luther, I found out that she is married to the director Robert Hall, which explains how she got the leading role. I normally like slasher movies but this one was missing something. I liked all the gore and the effects were nicely done but I think the story and lead actress are what made me dislike this movie. Laid to Rest could have been a lot better with a different star and better writing. Watch it if you feel you must, I most likely won't watch it again.

I'll keep this in mind for those days when I just can't find anything else to watch, lol.

that cover reminds me so much of the final destination series... personal license plate? in a horror movie.. Smells like, Cheese!

I thought this was a pretty good movie. I didn't like the way it started, but everything came together as it went along.
I found it refreshing that most of the cast is likeable, so it matters when they die. The effects were really good too.

Good to know. I like it when time is spent developing the people in the movie. What good are they with any time spent on screen if you either don't know anything about them, or care at least a little about them? I'll add it to the list.

Just fair warning, the beginning is kind of stupid. I thought it was going to be all downhill from there but it got better and in a big way. Good slasher with a nice old school feel to it.
