The sequel to the original, and probably the best sequel in the entire franchise. Michael is back and so is Jamie Lee Curtis in her role as Laurie Strode. I think I actually like this one better than the original. Great movie and definitely deserves to be with the classics. One of the best sequels of all time.

I like this one more than the original. I agree that it's the best of all the sequels, and one of the best sequels to a movie (horror especially) in general. It picks up right where the last one left off and shows Michael go on an even bloodier rampage this time. Loved it as a kid and I still love it today.

It being in a hospital just adds to the tension. A hospital is where you're supposed to be in safe hands, where you go to get better. In this case, the normally safe haven is extremely dangerous. This movie just works so well on every level.

I love the scene towards the beginning where the kid shows up at the hospital with his mom and apparently has bitten a razor blade hidden in his apple or candy he got as a treat. Nice nod to the urban legend of the time, although I'm sure it really happened at times.

Urban legends have to start somewhere right?
My favorite scene was always the one where Michael burns the guys face in the hot tub (or whatever it was).

Oh yeah, the dude that thought he was Casanova. Love that scene too.

I remember seeing that as a kid and thinking it was the most awesome death scene ever. I'd rent the movie over and over just to watch that part.

I don't know his name, but I don't like that actor, lol. Liked him even less in The Accused.

I'm sure that just made his death all the sweeter.

I love the girl..."whew, it's getting hot in here". It's a hot tub, I would hope so. Still, works great for the scene.

This would have been an awesome way to end the Michael Myers story. Oh well, gotta milk those sequels for all they're worth right?
Makes me wonder what kind of cool stories would have happened if they did the horror anthology thing they started with Halloween 3.

I think Halloween 3 is a stand alone film. It was weird and just seems to me it was best stopped there. I like it, but it's a quirky film that wasn't well received when it came out. I don't see how they could have furthered the story and made people want to see it, especially if they saw the first Halloween 3. Just my opinion.

It wasn't well received then, but it's become a cult classic today. The original idea was to take different stories and have them all happen around Halloween. Seems to me that would have been an awesome idea.

I love it now too. Maybe you're right. Could have worked much better if they had called it something different. People expected Michael and got nothing of the sort. All about how you market it I guess.
