Well, it'll provide more than adequate space for me for a good while. The thing I hate, is they always die at some point. 2 TB is a lot to back up to disc. So, I guess when it dies down the road I'll be in the same boat I am now.
It's an external drive, but I think I'm gonna take it out of the case and install it internally. Would access data faster not having to go through the USB connection.
Got the drive, and it's all kinds of awesome having all the extra space. It's still an external, for now. And I re-installed Windows 7. Forgot that anything over 3 GB of ram is pretty much useless in an x86 OS. Windows 7 that I have is 64 bit and takes advantage of all the memory I have installed. So, just got to tweak it to remove some of the eye candy that's hogging resources.
