That is most definitely an English thing. I surely have never heard that phrase over here lol.

I haven't either, but I like it a lot. Gonna start using that at work. "Nah, no more of that beer, that stuff's pants."

I like it too. It's such a nice sounding way of saying something quite vulgar.

Used it Monday. The sales guy just looked at me, so I said..."it sucks, that means it sucks". He looked at me a minute longer, said "oh", and walked away, lol.

Finally saw the remake, and it is indeed pants. I didn't like it, mostly because the movie is so dark I couldn't tell what was going on most of the time. From what i could tell, the story stayed pretty much with the original, except for it centering around a kid now like Tony said. But, it was so freaking dark. I just couldn't enjoy it much cause I couldn't see what was going happening.
I'll definitely stick with the original.

I went with undecided, because it's been a while since I've seen either one. I do remember liking the original TV movie's ending better. That's about it. Although I do prefer Kim Darby's acting in the original over Katie Holmes' in the remake. Not that they're playing the same character, I was just making a note of that. Sorry to be misleading.
