I agree with you some what on that. I admit I hate it alot because of the title but I honestly did like it the first time i saw it at the theater It made me laugh, alot of action, good gore everything a movie should have. Then I rented it with my family as soon as it came out and it wasnt even half as good as Id remembered. I dont really know why but I just didnt like it the second time around.

Some movies just don't hold up over repeated viewings. I felt the same way about Independence Day.

I hated Godzilla 98 so freakin much! I don't consider it a Godzilla flick at all. ID4 was a good theater flick, doesn't hold up well at home unless you have a big ass t.v. and a ridiculous sound system. Even then, nothing matters after you see the initial scene of buildings blowing up.

Godzilla 98 was so bad and made Godzilla look so bad glad the japanese 00's movies cleared things up. Now we all no that was Zilla a different monster attacking new york not Godzilla.

I guess I'm the only one who can watch both GZ98 and ID4 over and over and over and over and...

Seen both, but barely remember anything from either. No rush to refresh my memory at the moment.
