Watched this on my computer a few months ago and not surprisingly, it was bad. The thing about it though, is that this movie honestly had a lot of potential to be good!
First off, the friends hanging out together honestly felt like people that would hang out in real life. They acted fairly normal instead of being complete stupid stereotypes which was a nice change of pace, and the filming itself wasn't too bad.
What was wrong you ask? Well first off the film is pg-13, this ensuring that you won't get as much awesome shark gore as you would like. How in the world do you go about making a film about a lake full of killer sharks and having it rated anything less than R?! Absolutely stupid idea.
The other main problem, which really solidified it's failure, was the motive of the villains. See, the sharks are in the lake because some local jerks decided to put them there. So far, not a bad idea. The part that IS dumb though, is that they plan to film it and sell footage of the attacks on the internet. Really? REALLY?! How many times can a person watch someone get attacked by sharks before it gets old, and who in their right mind would actually PAY to see that!?
Overall, a disappointment, though not a complete waste of time. It's just sad to see an idea that could have been really cool just fall on it's face.

See, if they were doing for the shits and giggles of it all and still put the footage on the net but for free, sounds like it could have been awesome.
And, dude, you've been on the net long enough to know if it's dead or dying people will not stop watching it. Hell, it would have 14 threads on boards like 4chan and the like a day for 2 years straight. People are idiots that like their stupid ish.

True. Still, selling it won't work out too well. Like I said, if it was rated R and they just did it for ish and giggles, it would have worked out well.
