Overall Rating: 8.5/10 Your day starts off everyday like all the ones you lived before, delivering meals on wheels to your grand dad's retirement home with your loud mouth brother. Except today is going to play out slightly different because you have planned up a robbery of a local bank. With your team of misfit crime buddies this operation is in and out success, right? This is your set up in Cockneys vs Zombies a hilarious comedy horror film set for release in the states later this year. Being in a bank job gone wrong and needing a couple of hostages to get out isn't the easiest of scenarios, try it in a zombie outbreak that you don't even know is happening. Besides the funny plot of the robbery gone to hell we also follow the senior citizens fight for survival. Which makes you wonder "which generation would last longer in the zombie apocalypse?" Following the plot is easy and enjoyable, but probably the biggest fun of this film is the creative ways to kill zombies. The arsenal isn't limited to only firearms but every day items from gardening tools, vehicles, fire extinguishers, and plenty more. Some of the weapons used have made it to other zombie flicks, but the manner they are used step up the game in zombie killing. In a comedy or a horror film it can be difficult to make a connection with your characters. In Cockneys vs Zombies we found ourselves able to relate in an very real way; finally remembering things that stall our current plan, losing a close person we love, knowing what and how to kill zombies. Hopefully Cinema Village will be playing it like they were Hatchet 3. That was a fine experience.
EDIT: CV is getting it August 2nd. They're also getting Frankensteins Army. Can't win 'em all, I guess.

It's available from them on disc, but not streaming. I switched back to discs, too much missing streaming that my wife liked and a lot that I liked too actually. But, it won't be until Oct. 22 when we lose streaming, so it's sweet for about a month. This is going to be great for the Halloween watching.

Oh absolutely. I'm so lazy with discs, though there is a ton on there I'd love to see. The price to do streaming and disc is too much though.
