"A midnight showing of an early 1970's horror movie turns to chaos when the Killer from the movie comes out of the film to attack those in the theater. "
Picked this out thinking it would be really cheesy and bad, but it surprisingly turned out to be very good. Awesome (mostly, I think there may have been 1 CGI part) practical effects, a neat concept, good characters that you actually care about, and a pretty messed up ending. All in all, definitely a worthwhile 79 minutes.

I got a dvdr of this film about a year a go and loved it. It got all what you'd expect from this type of film. Not seen it for a while, and i may dig it out over the next few days. Hell, its friday 13th tomorrow - so its time for a horrorthon me thinks. I do horrorthons on fri 13th and halloween, where i try to watch at lest 5 films in a row.

It was done in a very 80's style and you could tell it didn't have the biggest budget in the world, but damn did they make it work. The movie in a movie thing usually blows, but they pulled it off here. I loved how the movie they were watching (The Dark Beneath) looked so much like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The people who did this were obviously big time horror fans.

I saw this movie last week and loved it. Now I'm psyched to see the extended version released in 2011 with better FX: Midnight Movie - the Killer Cut.

Having searched extensively for this movie to answer Occupant's Guess the Movie question, I have a big appreciation for it now and I really want to see this. When we finally switch to streaming on Netflix, I'm probably going to OD the first day, I have a lot lined up.

This is a good one man. I watched it by myself and another time with my sister, and she liked it too.

When we go to streaming this will be the first one we get. She's got some stupid workout videos she needs first...what? No, I haven't said a word about them....

Weird, my girlfriend bought me this film the other day from some dingy dvd rental store. I had never heard of it, but the concept seemed awesome. Will totally watch this one tonight since all of you seem to like it.
