How was The Meg? Wait, don't tell me. OK, go ahead. Probably be disappointed after seeing it anyway. It was stupid fun and better than the book. They made some of the scenes from the book much better than the movie.

Statham isn't too Jason Statham, too. It's over the top but I liked it. I thought it would be trash, but it wasn't. Just don't take it too seriously.

BlacKkKlansman - Very very good.
Crazy Six - The whole movie is padding. Why was this even made?
Blast - As generic an action film as humanly possible. Skip it.
Abominable - Slow but decent Bigfoot movie. Wouldn't watch it again though.
10 Things I Hate About You - AKA The Taming of the Shrew for a teenage 90's audience. I liked it.
Across 110th Street - Good plot, but too slow and plodding for my taste.
Terrifier: Good gore, but literally no plot or decent characters. Even at 83 minutes, this was a drag.
Desperado - Oldie but a goodie.
Monkey Shines - A bit long, but still a damn good film.
Trouble Man - Very generic blaxploitation film. Skip it.
German Angst - Very uneven anthology. First story was boring, second had a good plot but unfortunately dragged on about 10 minutes too long, which ruined it, but the 3rd story was creepy and great. Honestly may keep the movie just for that one.

Peppermint. Started out decent but got ridiculous in a hurry. Just another generic, below average action film.

Swallowed Souls: The Making of Evil Dead II (2011)
Really awesome insight into the making of the movie, they talk about the original too. The cast is back as are all the make up effects guys. Ted Raimi too. Really entertaining watch.

Out Of The Furnace
Been meaning to watch this for years, and it was great, but not enough action to warrant being in the list. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'll gladly add it. I'm really liking how films like this are made.

Hadn't heard of it, so I checked the IMDB, sounds like action to me man. Feel free to add it NDX. Watched The Meg I'm probably going to add this to the list. I wouldn't call it a horror movie, nor would I call it a good movie, at all. Every cliche you can gather in a movie like this was thrown at you. Not many characters you care about, even Statham's character deosn't really connect. Add to that all the CGI, which I know was necessary in a movie like this, but when Jurassic Park from the 90's blows it out of the water CGI wise, they did a terrible job. Didn't like it at all, but that's just me...and my wife...and probably anyone expecting this movie to be good.

Well, I thought it sucked, but that's OK. If everyone liked the same thing, this would be a boring place. But, you liked it? Really? Huh...

It's not a good movie but I had a good time watching it. Better than the book, thankfully, and I liked that a lot.

I took it too seriously. Had waited so long to see it, was just expecting a lot more, all the way around. Oh well, maybe I'll give it another shot down the road, at least I can say I saw it.
