He really did look so calm. You can't sell for anything Ace!

That's Senior Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager (and yes, he says that every time he's on screen) John Laurenitis. Or you can call him Johnny Ace. Or Road Warrior Animal's brother.

Wow, that's Animal's brother? I had no idea. So, he's a behind the scenes guy and was called on to sell?

Yup, he took over talent relations after Jim Ross. Right now he's the GM and basically trying to screw Punk out of the belt.

JR left? And screwing Punk angle wise, yeah?

JR is still with the company, he just doesn't do the talent scouting anymore. He does stuff in the back. Johnny Ace was a backstage guy as well, but now they've given him an onscreen role as well.

Ahh, gotcha.

And JR no longer heading the talent scouting has shown the last 8 years. It's been rare that Ace has found some great talent on the market because the indies were like off limits until recently because of how Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have worked out.

Oh man you're not kidding. Sitting through guys like Heidenreich, The Great Khali and Snitsky has been wretched.

"It! Wasn't! My! Fault!" still makes me laugh, though.
