That sucks. At least he gave you some money back. I had a title belt I bought privately and when I got it, it was a total POS. Sent it to a guy to get all the rivets replaced for $75, then sold it on E-bay for about half what I paid for it. The guy took it out of the box and most of the rivets had broken and the majority of the plates had come off. PayPal and E-bay made us split return shipping, but he got the majority of his money back.
Re-attached all the plates with Chicago screws myself and sold it again for even less than the first time. That belt cost me a lot of money to sell, lol. Sorry, don't know what this had to do with the book you bought.

If it's an online store it's not usually that bad. Still sucks, but not terrible. Private sellers can be a b!tch.

They can. I picked 2 books today from a 6 book set, and I already have the last 3 books. Now, I HAVE to get book 1 from a private seller on Amazon because it is OOP. So, I'm not really looking forward to that.
