They're asking people who have these books to help them out. They actually have a call out to fans on the first page of each book asking if people have issues and stories to share.

So, these guys take material that is up for grabs to basically anyone, put it together and then sell it. And, a lot of it they don't even have to work to find, because they ask fans to send it in. And, being fans of these types of comics, the people that have the material do, because they want to see more of these anthologies put out?
That's too easy man. How would one go about getting all the legal stuff straight to do that?

Again, most likely ass these comics no longer have a copyright to worry about. Once the copyright runs out, you can do whatever the hell you want with them at that point. No one owns them.
Why there are 900 copies of Night of the Living Dead put out by 800 different companies.

Wonder how much it would cost to put that all together and publish something like that?

I don't even know if there are physical copies. I do know it's digital, which means a shitton of profit there. And if so, it's probably a very small run. Doubt many small stores carry it.

Been watching these on TV and the one thing that seems to really hurt this series is the episodes being an hour long. A half hour would have been plenty for these. At an hour, these really drag and I find myself losing track of the story. These shows could have been much more intense shortened and the filler taken out. Someone should have gotten that during the first season, but they didn't. Could have gone longer, the stories are pretty good. It's just they're all way too long and it's obvious.
