I'm certainly not complaining.

I can only think they got it from their mother. Just speculation though.

Here's the story for this. "After the passing of her mother, a young woman in a wheelchair since birth, is forced to deal with her sister, brother-in-law, niece and their nanny as they say their goodbyes to mother. When people start turning up dead, Nica discovers the culprit might be a strange doll she received a few days earlier." Brad Dourif will return as the voice of Chucky. His daughter, Fiona Dourif, will play the role of Nica. She looks just like him. www.imdb.com/title/tt2230358/

Sounds better than the last 3. And yeah, his daughter does look just like him. Scary.

Updated synopsis and a look at Chucky... "Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn’t know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He’s determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he’s going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end." link

Yeah, same here. I get tired of the remakes and reboots, but so far this one looks OK.

The first 2 were decent films, though they might seem silly by today's standards. If it's anything like those, it should be a worthwhile watch.

I like the first one a lot. I know I've seen the second, but I don't remember much about it.

A limited theatrical release date of September 24th for this then DVD, VOD and later a Blu-ray release. And a new pic... A trailer is expected next month.

Straight to DVD is the way to go. I certainly wouldn't expect this to do well in the theater.
