I read the book when it first came out but I don't really remember much about it...other than its about a town under a dome, lol. So watching it is like watching a whole new story. Good so far!

I know it was changed up for TV, I think we've only seen some subtle changes so far. Being that the fan reaction was negative enough about the changes to prompt King to post a letter about why things were done the way they were for the series, I'm guessing some big differences are coming.

This has been signed for a second season. Number one, I don't know how that works when the screenplay was written to end when it was originally scheduled to, after 16 episodes. This season was already filmed, so how do you alter it to make a second season even possible?
Number two, this isn't wowing me the way I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent show. But some of it just seems so over the top and unbelievable whereas in the book it didn't come off that way. Sure it's fiction and most of it isn't possible and you have to suspend belief to get it, but the book did a much better job of getting you there than the show has. Not a bad show, I just have a little trouble getting into it. I expected better, but what do I know?

This doesn't seem to be much like the book. I can see why King put out the online post explaining why it was different, die hard fans of the novel were probably upset.

What's been happening. I'm 6 episodes behind thanks to CBS's F*CK YOU TWC.

Man, it's really hard to explain what's going on. They found the mini dome, Jr. isn't as nuts as he was...still out there though, some lady has come to town and has Big Jim and Barbie by the balls for their pasts, and I'm pretty sure Big Jim just killed her mother. Plus some other stuff. Catch up when you can, but this one is getting pretty crazy.

Preview from season 2 starting in June with the first episode written by Stephen King himself. No footage of the upcoming season in this "preview", but the producers do discuss it.

I am too. It's not following the book very closely, but I like it the way it's done. I didn't realize how much I liked the first season until it was over.

Caught the preview of season 2 for this the other day, looks like it'll be pretty good. Again, nothing like the book, but looks good. Starts tomorrow night.

It's an OK show, I like it. But, to be honest, it's just something to watch until TWD comes back. But, it is entertaining.
