Such ish. Michael Keaton chose the wrong film to make a comeback on. He's so much better than this film.

How do you make a robot battle boring? See the above clip.

I'm not all that upset about him running. I figure it's possible with the technology we have now. Still looks shitty though.

Okay, so after Tomas said this was a good movie on its own (once you get passed the NOT MUH ROBOCOP!)
The design of his suit, when in the original colors, looks pretty good so far. Shame later in the movie they try to tacticool it up with black.
HOLY ish HE'S LITERALLY A PAIR OF LUNGS AND A HEAD! That was unexpected.
This is definitely different, but so far it works.

Okay, I like this soundtrack so far. Starting with the classic music from the movie (kicked in muh nostalgia) and then some Focus with Hocus Pocus for the practice gunfight.

Okay. So that was a good movie to watch. I don't regret dropping $6.50 on it.

It could have used a little more action and a better villain, but overall it was a decent film. If they did a sequel I'd check it out.

I agree, but I like how we really dove into the science of it all, as well as the development of Murphy as Robocop. They did that well. I blame it being PG-13 for the action issues.

I agree with that. The whole idea of making a film pg-13 for a bigger audience is such an outdated idea so I don't know why they bother. Kids that are 10 years old are playing Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto, so seeing a little blood and hearing curse words really isn't going to have any effect on them. Besides, it only matters if a film looks interesting or not that will bring in an audience, not the rating.

It was because the budget doubled while filming. So that caused them from aiming for an R to aiming for PG-13. Also, take note of DREDD. Amazing movie, one of the best of the year, and made no money, rating or not. Goes to what you said there, Tomas. People need to be interested, like we were.
