Besides Shouting "I usually see them in theaters" or "On the Television" I want to know how you watch your movies. The question so much isnt what do you consume, how and where you sit, what size screen, or sound system but all of these things into one. I'll go first. So i watch most films on my PC just because i can escape this way i have an amazing screen that just makes for a beautiful display (better than my tv). I usually have a giant mug of something to drink im talking 7.5" tall no getting up once this starts i also listen to my movies thru Earbuds, now the earbuds i use cost me right around $100.00 sorta expensive but Rockford Fosgate is known for there Subwoofers and Amplifiers and the Ear buds don't disappoint. I hear all the low bass and highs any audio can put out. not always the best idea i have almost taken the PC with me a few times due to a seat jumping scare. The other way i watch movies will be with my PS3 (Bluray) on a 42" lCD using the television speakers (mostly done this way when i have guest over) A picture of what my earbuds look like they feel better than what they look

If its a horror then its a tv job, vegging out on the sofa with a variety of munchies to hand and the lights off

i more or less watch all my movies on the 37 inch plasma. the tv i use for my pc and gaming is a samsung 23 inch 1080p lcd. mega picture, lousy sound. yet, when i use my sony ear buds it sounds really good. strange or what.

Depends for me. I usually get home late from work and my wife goes to bed shortly after I get home. So, If she's sleeping, I'll watch my horror on my PC with my JVC ear buds.
If it's my day off and we're watching together it's on the 42 inch plasma through my JVC surround sound system.
Lee, I had a 32 inch LCD, can't remember the brand, but it had a wicked picture and bad sound. But, through head phones or my receiver, sounded great. Just the junk speakers they install in the TVs. Allowing it to be played through another device can often make it sound tons better.

I had the option of a two car garage or extra room when buying my house and passed on the garage for the extra room i have the projector and screen up there with one nice big comfy sofa still working on a sound system for it and decorating it to be a theater/man cave

I'd love to get a projector, just don't have a room big enough, or I should say, a room without a ton of other stuff already in it, lol.

I'm sure you'll figure something out Tony, just keep messing with it and seeing what works and what doesn't. The main thing, I would think, is that the viewing is good. Comfortable where there seats are placed, able to see, etc. Once you have that, you can get the surround sound and all that ironed out.
