Has anyone here purchased a soundtrack to a movie and actually liked it? Thinking about the nightmare on elm street (2010) soundtrack any input?

oh yes I have a few faves the queen of the dammed soundrack is one of my favourite albums ever.. Jonathon Davis of Korn wrote most of the material, so of course its fabulous, and Marilyn Manson (sigh), disturbed, linkin park, godhead and loads of other cool bands feature on it. Highly reccomend if u like dark, vamp, heavy kinda music. another goodie for me is the lost boys soundtrack, and the original matrix soundtrack, oh and twilight

i bought the pulp fiction and jackie brown soundtracks. i just love the music out those films. i've got american graffiti and christine on vinyl. the downside is that i no longer have a turn table.

have to agree with the queen of the dammed choice, and the matrix. Both are great.

I have quite a few soundtracks that I like. Some of those include the soundtracks to Can't Hardly Wait, I Am Sam, Almost Famous, The Wedding Singer, and The Royal Tenenbaums.
Horror-wise, I enjoy the I Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack quite a bit. Need to buy more horror soundtracks.

I don't have any. The only song I really cared enough about from a horror movie to not just YouTube and actually obtain a physical copy of was Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik that I found a single of, because the second half was in Creepshow's The Crate and 1408 and I just couldn't get it out of my head.
I love a lot of music from movies, but not enough to buy the whole thing. YouTube usually satisfies me.
