Music can really add to or detract from the action in a horror flick. Feel free to add more music from horror movies and tell us if you think it made a positive or negative contribution to the film.
Personally, I really like Tito & Tarantula and I love how the band fit into the action in From Dusk Till Dawn. I know you all remember these songs, although not necessarily because of the band.
Can't show the original video because of the nudity, but here's Angry Cockroaches:

^ I couldn't agree more KTTH! Excellent use of George Thorogood's Bad to the Bone... Opening scene of Stephen King's Christine:

Some pretty effective tunes in horror movies:
"Mr. Sandman" in Halloween II ('81)
"In Heaven" in Eraserhead
"The Midnight Special" in Twilight Zone: The Movie
"Dear God" in IT ('17)
"When the Man Comes Around" in Dawn of the Dead ('04)
