The Kovenant doing a cover of Metallica's The Memory Remains. First time I heard this I just went "Wait...what?"
I like it, but I know this certainly won't be many people's cup of tea. Never thought I'd hear an industrial version of a Metallica song. I like the woman who sings in here 100 times better than the original.

I like when other bands cover Metallica, like to hear their spin on it. Thought this was good. I recognized it right away, not just from the woman singing part. My wife didn't get it until she started later in the song, then it clicked for her. She didn't like the guy singing, but I thought it was pretty good overall.

I have to separate. No one will out sing James on his own songs IMO, or the covers Metallica have done. But, I like to hear how bands do covers of them. These folks put their own spin on it, and I can respect that. Like the original better, but not bad at all.

Just saw this. The music is really good, I'm not big on the vocals though. Still, it was interesting hearing their take on the song.
I like this one a lot:

Since you said unique, that means it doesn't necessarily have to be GOOD right? Here's a few more:
I Set My Friends On Fire covering Crank Dat by Soulja Boy. Did you ever want to hear someone scream and grunt to one of the worst rap songs ever? No? Too bad, cuz here it is anyway!
How about Goodnight Nurse's cover of Kelis' song Milkshake?
The Number 12 Looks Like You covering The Knack's My Sharona. I don't even know how to describe this.

I ONLY understood Robocop in that screamo cover. I didn't hate it, tell you the truth.
That My Sharona one had me in stitches, the song, the video, holy ish!
I... headbanged to Kellis...

What's funny is I actually understand the lyrics better in that screaming version than the original Crank Dat.
You headbanged to Kelis? Oh man, that is too funny.
Horrorcore duo Twiztid doing a cover of Steve Miller Band's song The Joker:

Children of Bodom pick some interesting songs to cover. Would you ever expect a black metal band to cover Eddie Murphy's Party All The Time?
How about Jessie's Girl?
