Im not sure if this would be classified as 'horror' but it is definatly a dark kinda movie, and a really good watch. Think along the lines of 'orphan' or 'the strangers' for the kind of cinematic feel, although the stories are completly different.
A very entertaining film. Revenge is always sweet!

I love this film and all the little goodies that i found out about it like lionsgate had designed this poster "little red riding hood" even tho she had only wore the jacket once in the film it thru off the creators of the film but they loved it and during the Q&A at the sun dance festival there was one gentleman that flipped his top angry about the film ranting as the creator of the film stood there waiting to answer his question

I watched this a while back on FearNet and liked it. It has it's spots where it drags, but when it's going it's pretty good. I would have never thought of Ellen Page in the that role, but it works.

thats what I liked about it..... again not so much hardcore horror, but enough to make u uncomfortable. Its another film that makes u think, and at the end u are kinda glad that u watched it.

I didn't like it. When I feel more sorry for the pedophile, then you did a bad job of making your main character sympathetic.

Ellen Page's character can be hard to like, too much like her Juno character for me. Aside from that I thought it was pretty good. She turned the tables on the pedo, and made him pay. That was OK with me.

No qualms with getting back at the pedo, but it's hard to root for someone who is torturing another human being, regardless of how awful they may be.

I always wanted to see a movie where the idea is a set of killers are trying to kill a family or couple but it mindf*cks you where the targets or victims are killers themselves i just enjoy films that are a bit twisted i liked this film just like the perfect getaway just a bit of a twist to make you say oh wow!

I suppose it depends on wether or not you think the person getting tortured deserved it. thats a whole different coversation about morals there. torture scenes are always grim. there supposed to be, but wether or not you can tolarate watching it, I suppose is based on your own opinions.
for example, the last house on the left....... bothers me. 2 innocent girls humilated, tortured all for the perverted pleasure of a cpl of pyschopaths but
hard candy, peado getting his just deserts? fine by me.

I think it just bothered me that the torture scene was...well pretty much the whole movie. Don't usually mind a series of a few people getting tortured, but 85+ minutes of 1 person is a bit much for my taste. I guess I just prefer to spread the love lol.
