Why have I never watched this before? Dozed off during it, but rewound it to see what I missed I was enjoying it so much. Worth owning, I think. Sadly no bluray.
That skeleton scene in the opening was awesome.

YOU'VE NEVER SEEN WISHMASTER?!?! Dude, this is one of my favorite horror films ever.
The effects in it are incredible. Plus you have bit parts by horror icons Angus Scrimm, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, and Robert Englund. What's not to love? Well, aside from Wishmaster 3 and 4 anyway.

So stick with the first 2. Gotchya. Yeah, never saw it and it was added to Epix today along with Maximum Overdrive so I knew I had to watch it. Something I've been wanting to see for a while, and I'm glad I did. On my purchase list now.

Glad you enjoyed it. I think it's a very underrated film. Definitely try to get that 2 pack. Part 2 is almost as good. Only complaint is some REALLY awful cgi at the end.

Wishmaster was pretty good graphically considering it's from 1997. Pretty strong, although some of it doesn't hold up. Still think that skeleton CG from the opening was slick as hell.

I knew I was in for something awesome right after the skeleton scene. Plus I just love that crazy bloodbath at the end. That piano wire...

It really surprised me what they went with in this film. Much more graphic than I was expecting. Wonder why I never hear anyone other than people here talk about it.

It's honestly one of the last really hard R horror films that made it into the theater from what I remember. They really went all out with the gore effects.

That's why even though I zonked out there I rewound what I missed and re-watched it. Had to, it was that good. I like how she won the day, too. Seems so simple, but it worked so perfectly.

Welp, I guess we just have to avoid Djinns at all costs.

Seen the whole series I think and I think the movies are in the correct order as far as best to worst. 1 was the best and 4 was the worst if I remember right. Need to see at least the first one again.
