I'm slightly disappointed this isn't a Dr. Doom game or movie.

You should play the game, the first 3 are 90's greatness.

I have played the original Doom game. It was okay. I used to play Corridor 6 on my old computer.

Some new details for this one...
"According to Polygon, who was in attendance at Quakecon 2014, the name of the game will simply be "Doom." They won’t be calling the game “Doom 4″, which was the initial title of the game back when it was in development in 2007. After years of turmoil they had to scrap everything related to “Doom 4″ and start over, so this new monicker represents that clean break.
The next “Doom” game will also be extremely violent, perhaps more so than previous iterations. There will be a heavy emphasis on melee combat as attendees witnessed a short video which displayed “brutal melee attacks” including the use of a chainsaw. The player can also be on the receiving end of a brutal attack, as well, as during the presentation he was attacked by a flying demon who ripped off his arms and beat him to death with them.
However, while melee attack were heavily showcased, the game will still feature plenty of weaponry. Including things like shotguns, plasma rifles, and rocket launchers. And, of course, you’ll be able to carry them all at once.
Another interesting moment noted in the Polygon article was that the player was able to rip the arm off of a dead corpse and use it as a key card by placing it on a scanner to open a door. Looks like they’re trying to incorporate blood into even the most mundane tasks.
“Doom” will run on id Tech 6 and will launch on the PC, XBox One, and PS4."
Really excited about this one.

Wow, they're seriously upping the gore on this one. I'm quite alright with that.

Short E3 teaser, and I do mean short. Hopefully after E3 we'll get a better look at the game.

I had serious doubts about DOOM 4. DOOM 3 was horrible. Nice to see them going back to the roots of DOOM. More blood and gore and craziness. That's what DOOM is about. This and FALLOUT 4 are really making me consider buying a new gen console.
