Awesome Mix 1 has a sequel, as seen at the end of the film. We know the official first track is Ain't No Mountain High Enough. Let us assume there will be 12 songs on this tape as well. What should they be? Note, they must all be from no later than early 1988, since that's when Quill gets abducted.
So, let's see, what should we have on this soundtrack? I'm thinking:
Thriller because you can never have enough MJ and it's the only way we'll ever get a Vincent Price in a Marvel movie. That man would have been the best Doctor Strange if they made a movie back in the 60s.
Then again, I'd be fine with any facking Queen song because I love that band. I mean, so many songs would work considering what this movie established about the Cosmic Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You... If only Freddy Mercury was still alive to cameo in one of these.

I love the soundtrack almost as much as the movie! Ahh, this thread makes me want to go pop it in the blu-ray player right now! We went to my boyfriend's daughter's choir concert last week and they had a group of 4 guys who sang "Hooked on a Feeling" a cappella style and it was amazing! I wish I could have gotten a recording of it. Actually, scratch that, I looked it up on YouTube on the chance that someone did record it and I found it:
