Alright, this was my man NDX's idea and I think it's a great one. Basically you watch at least one Sci-fi movie a day for the month of September. You can certainly watch more than one a day, but if you want to participate, you need to watch at least one a day all month. Anyone participating, and I hope that's all of you, post the movie you watched in this thread and just add to your list with the one you watch next. Let's make the inaugural Sci-Fi-September a great one and make NDX proud!!

You know, a lot of these films blend into one another, too. So they could easily be used for both months. I can't wait to get into this! Gotta go post my movies in a moment! Thanks, endo!

I think you're set for the month. Wow. How do you decide what to watch out of them? Random or do you start at A?

|
|
Post by NDX on Aug 30, 2014 5:32:34 GMT -5
Probably randomly. What am I in the mood for, what I see first, etc. There's a few I probably didn't include that could be included, and the bottom 100 are from 2 of the 50 Sci-Fi movie packs. So those are just freebees, there. The rest are dvds/BDs I just own. I just don't know what to start with.
I was thinking maybe Superman (which for some reason I left off the list) on Monday before truck. Because Christopher Reeves is still the best live action Superman to me.

Got that posted already. I'm surprised at all the horror I own. I never really bought those before I met Tomas.

Where is Tomas anyway? Miss him around here.
I don't have a huge strictly Sci-fi collection, but like you said Scott, a lot of movies would fit both the horror and Sci-fi genres. I think between what I own and Netflix I can do Sci-Fi September no problem. Now to figure out what the first one will be.

No idea.
You got 3 hours to do it. At midnight it begins! I'll probably throw something in around 2, 3 AM after I watch some shows.

Kicked it off with one of my favorites and a true classic. Probably do the sequel with Sutherland tonight.

I wish I had both of those on DVD. That Sutherland ending haunted me after seeing it in middle school. Literally in the school, for a chosen class.
1. Superman/Superman II
And the day's not over yet.
