ProBoards Support is aware that some forums have had an issue with posts as well as other data and even members being deleted. Apparently it's an issue with one of their servers. They've stated on their site that they have backups of the forums affected and all missing data and members should be restored by the end of the day. Seems like everything is back, some stuff is out of order post wise, but at least it's back. Thanks to the folks over at the support site for taking care of it so quickly.
They say it only affected a small percentage of their forums, but when you host over 3 million forums, that small percentage can actually be quite large. So, it's much appreciated that they got it done so fast.

Who are you guys bribing? Or, who did I piss off? Actually, it was more confusing than anything knowing a post was just there and now it isn't. Still some lingering issues, occupant noticed a couple of my shouts missing and some things still aren't in the correct order they were posted, but for the most part, things are back to normal. |
