I know, I know. Dude, check your calendar. But, we love Halloween so much that we like to announce the 31 Nights of Halloween early, just so everyone is pumped up and ready to go. A horror movie a day,(or when you can), all the way from the 1st of October to Halloween night. 31 horror flicks that you pick. Easy. It's fun every year seeing everyone's list and discussing them as well. It's all around good stuff to get in on, so love to see everyone give it shot! You can post here now, but this won't officially start until October 1st , obviously. Can't wait!

Between this forum, my forum, and the WoW Halloween events, it is going to be a busy month for me, but I certainly intend to take part in this.

Well, again, it doesn't have to be a movie a day. I know people have lives and jobs and stuff they have to do. It's about having fun and enjoying the season of Halloween. Post when you can and just enjoy it man. It really is a lot of fun, and we'll have a new badge to give to the participants as well, so it's a win win. Can't wait to get that rolling, but right now my focus is on football and Sci-Fi September! Hope to see you get in on that if you can.

I'll participate, but I have one big limit with this one: it has to be light outside while I'm watching, if I'm watching alone especially. Otherwise, I get too paranoid and scary ish tends to start happening around me. I guess I'll make an exception if the boyfriend happens to want to watch a scary movie with me at night though. I know, I know, I'm such a scaredy-cat.
Seems only right that I'll start mine off with: 01. THE CRAZIES! (2010)

✶April✶, I know you're not a huge horror movie fan, and that's ok. But here you are joining in on the biggest horror event we have all year. That's what I'm talking about!! You're still getting in there and watching it all, freaking awesome and it makes me feel good. Thank you, and I hope you at least enjoy the ones you watch. Good stuff, and I like it.

I'm definitely enjoying Timothy Olyphant right now, so that makes up for all the other scary parts. And usually, I do like the concept of some horror movies, it's just the creepiness and gory details that I can't fully handle.

Seems only right that I'll start mine off with: 01. THE CRAZIES! (2010) Here are some lighter horror type movies, in case you want to try them:
Critters. Gremlins. Saturday the 14th. Shawn of the Dead. The Gate. House (1986, I think). House II: the Second Story. Return of the Living Dead 2. Dead/Alive (lots of gore, but it is silly gore). Fright Night (the eighties version).

Aw, thank you so much for that list Rictras Shard!! I haven't seen any of those either, except the remake of Fright Night, which I don't think counts. The only potential problem would be finding them available to watch, but maybe I'll get lucky between Netflix, our OnDemand service, or our own personal collection (I know my boyfriend likes Gremlins so he may have that one somewhere, he was amazed that I'd never seen that). I'll go through and see what I can find and where I can find it though!

Critters, Gremlins, Shawn of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead 2 and Fright Night are on Youtube, but you have to pay for them.
Saturday the 14th, House and House II are on Youtbube for free.
