You know how you have certain scary movies that you watched when you were young and they left an impression on you that you never forget no matter how old you are? This is one of those movies for me. This is a must have movie for my collection.

It's such a good movie, I posted it twice. Seriously, it's a great movie. I had forgotten how good it was, definitely underrated.

It doesn't help that the only trailer for the movie is pretty lousy. This is one movie I think would be a good candidate for an updated version as long as they stay true to the story line. I loved Burgess Meredith in this and it had a lot of famous actors from back in the day in it. Beverly D'Angelo, who I don't think was well known yet, did something that was really shocking and perverted considering the genre and time it was released, I'm amazed it got past the censors.

The scene with Beverly D'Angelo certainly shocked me and the wife, lol. Had forgotten all about that.

I remember liking this movie enough when I finally got around to watching it years ago. I wasn't floored by it though. I would have to watch this again though since it's been awhile. I do like the fact a lot of old time actors are in this, like Burgess Meredith and Ava Gardner. So, yeah, a rewatch is in order. I do remember liking the ending quite a bit though.
