I don't know if this counts as horror, but it is awesome and does need a thread Any fans of this show? I think it's fantastic!

Definitely a big fan! It's quickly become my favorite. Simply for the way Tom Ellis portrays Lucifer Morningstar, he does it so amazingly well. He totally steals every scene for me. There are so many great quotes in every episode and the storyline is keeping me interested, especially after the twist in the most recent episode (I didn't see that coming at all). Watching the show is the highlight of my Monday night. IMDb classifies it as Drama/Fantasy but I think it could count as Horror (his devil face at least creeps me out!) also, it's just not focused as much on that aspect.

I agree - Tom Ellis does an absolutely brilliant job!
As for the twist in this week's episode... I saw it coming... about a minute before it actually happened. I just suddenly thought "Ah-ha!".
Lucifer's devil face is cool. He should use it more often.

Lol, well yeah, I saw it that minute before also.. And I'm just a big scaredy-cat, though the face is cool, for that very fleeting instant that it happens. I love how fierce he is when he gets mad though, and how he so easily switches back to his usual self.

Never seen an episode. I know a lot of folks like it, but it's just so hard to find the time to watch everything with my work schedule. My day off a week is usually spent catching up or being out doing stuff, and basically if my wife doesn't want to watch something, we don't. Between The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead and Ash vs. Evil Dead, that's about all the horror she would probably like. If it can grab her in the first episode, I would give it a shot, but it would have to happen in the first episode or she'd pass on it. Would it?

I wouldn't say it was really a horror. The fact that he is the devil and sometimes looks like a devil is about as scary as it gets. But it is well written and funny. Even if your wife doesn't enjoy the supernatural aspect, she may like the cop drama side of it. The pilot is well worth a watch if you find that you have the time

It definitely does not focus on the horror aspect at all.

I really like the show, but now it makes me wary to read the comic it's "based" off of. From what I hear it's far from what Neil Gaiman and Mike Carey established with him. I think the new series might be reflecting this change more and a lot of fans I've spoken to are not happy with it.
