Apologies if this has been posted before (or if this is in the wrong place!), but I've been looking through this list this evening and I thought I'd share it with you. It has also prompted me to change my avatar... and I now plan to re-watch "An American Werewolf in London" (one of my faves!) at some point this week. What do you think of this list? Do you agree with it? Are any films missing?

An American Werewolf in London and The Wolfman would top my list, followed by The Curse of the Werewolf with Oliver Reed. Some on that list I wouldn't even watch, but that's just me.

AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is one of my all-time favorite movies. I always thought THE HOWLING was overrated, believe it or not.
CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF: I'm ashamed to say that I've never seen it (some horror fan, right?), but from the stills I've seen in various monster books and magazines through the years I've always thought that Oliver Reed's wolfman was one of the creepiest ever. He just looks so . . . dangerous. LOL

Shockingly, I've never seen "The Curse of the Werewolf" either. I definitely need to rectify that.

The Howling isn't a bad movie overall, I mean it has it's moments as a cool werewolf flick. I like when Eddie first meets the reporter...can't remember Dee Wallace's characters name, but he wants to give her a piece of his mind. I also liked his transformation and hers on live TV.
Saw it in the theater with my sister when it came out, always had a love/hate relationship wit it.

An American Werewolf in London is certainly my favorite werewolf movie of all time. Followed by either Ginger Snaps or The Howling.
