Man, this was a ride and a half. Disturbing in many spots, but not so much you couldn't keep watching, well I kept watching anyway. From IMDB: "A reclusive author who went deaf as a teenager finds herself hunted by a deranged masked killer inside her isolated home, sending her into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in order to survive the night." On Netflix if anyone wants to give it a shot. I liked it a lot.

I really enjoyed this one too! I didn't expect much, because for one thing I am *really* done with home-invasion flicks, but I do like this director's track record so far and after hearing that Stephen King loved the film I had to check it out.
Good stuff, very suspenseful! The only real problem I had with it: I wish the mask would have stayed on for a lot longer than it did. The antagonist was never as scary as he was at the beginning, before the mask came off. That said, it was a very chilling moment when he did (as if to say, "It doesn't matter whether you've seen my face or not, because I plan to kill you anyway") . . . quite effective . . . .

This movie was good. Kept me on edge and there were parts where I knew something was about to happen and I was so scared that I had to look away.
