I voted the original...surprise surprise, lol. The original just holds a special place in my heart, I guess because it was one of the first horror films I saw. The 2003 version was OK, but the best part about it was Jessica Biel. Original for me.

i dont think ive seen the original unless its that odd one with the guy that had a robotic leg... not sure if thats even the same movie lol, i think im to afraid to watch the original i do enjoy how people ask what happened to the girl at the end if she ever got away believing that the movie played out like the actual facts the movie was based on

the 2nd is that the next generation? No Tony. The second one has Dennis Hopper in it, and he does a really good job actually. The Next Generation is like the fourth in the series, I think.

It goes in this order:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 and then Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.
Easy choice for me, the original. Good group of characters and a much better atmosphere. The only thing I enjoyed about the remake was Jessica Biel. Man she looked good.

Man she looked good. Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 just sounds like it would be the best damn movie ever

I remember liking it when I was younger, not sure how I would feel about it now. What is interesting is that there is both a censored and uncensored version, though I've heard there is barely a difference between the 2.
Leatherface focuses more on...well, Leatherface and his weird self. As a bonus, you get to see a "before he got famous" Vigo Mortensen!
