I know, I know, it's a month away, but many of us use these glorious movie marathoning months to help clear off our pile(s) while we can. So here's the deal. DVDecember will be the month of movie watching. Movies on DVD/BD/VHS. Movies you've bought and have not yet watched.
Now can you have watched the movie before? Of course. It's about stuff that you physically have lying around that you haven't watched yet (or in my case, stacked up). This gives you the incentive to finally get through a chunk of those movies and finally put that hard earned money to use.
Now, you might say, "But Scott, I only have Netflix!" HOW DARE YOU (especially you @dcorrea247)?! Well, a special concession can be made for you. You have to watch a new movie each night, one you have NOT seen before! That way you can still participate without having to go out and buy 31 movies (even though I probably will on Black Friday).
One last note, if you are watching a box set, you count each movie individually. Not gonna force you to watch 18 movies in one night because it's all packed together.
Now get that DVD player warmed up!

To get things started, here's what I've watched so far thanks to Sci-Fi-September, 31 Nights of Halloween and Arnold SchwarzeNovember. It's not a lot, but it's at least less movies off my horrifyingly huge, ever growing piles. Yes, piles.
Here we go.
00. Yongary, Monster from the Deep (DVD) 00. Konga (DVD) 00. "X" The Man With The X-Ray Eyes (DVD) 00. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (DVD) 00. Captain America: Civil War (BD) 00. The Empire Strikes Back (DVD) 00. Rammbock (Berlin Undead) (DVD) 00. Carrie '76 (BD) 00. The House of the Devil (BD) 00. Zombie Holocaust (DVD) 00. Bay of Blood (DVD) 00. 30 Days of Night (BD) 00. It Follows (BD) 00. Bloodsucking Bastards (BD) 00. The Blob '58 (BD) 00. Red Heat (BD) 00. Godzilla '14 (BD) 00. The Expendables 3 (BD) 00. Kickboxer 3: The Art of War (DVD) 00. Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor (DVD)

I think I'll stick to updating the above list in edits and only post a new one once a week. Once December starts than I'll update daily.
Anyone who has started early like myself want to post, please do. I'd like to see what you've removed from your list before we even get to the event.

I think I can start a new post now. Been a week since my last one. Trying to get a lot off my pile for SchwarzeNovember.
I have The Lion King on 3 different formats and I regret nothing!
Oh, so THAT'S how Frozen ends. Huh.

Going to try to participate in this one! We can combine the Netflix solution + movies we have lying around also, right?! Because I like the idea of watching a movie I haven't already seen. Most of the movies we have on DVD/BD are ones that I've already seen before. Though it's going to be a challenge getting a movie in after December 21st, as we're driving across the country to spend Christmas with my family for a 2 week visit, but I'll try!

✶April✶, you can watch any movies you already have or on Netflix, they all count. This is just a really cool way to watch some you haven't gotten too yet. Between DVDecember and the 13 Days of Creepmas, a lot of movies that need to be watched can be. Glad you'll be participating. Get your horror on for the first thirteen days, than anything goes. Of course, you don't have to watch just horror the first 13 days, all movies up for grabs in DVDecember!

I did watch Krampus a few months ago though! Haha. I remember talking about that last year, and possibly going to see it for the Creepmas, but it never happened.

If you do do a combined list, make sure you mark what was a DVD/BD and what was Netflix. Gives us an idea of what you're doing for the month.

Because I'm so ahead on SchwarzeNovember I'm getting a chance to watch a few other films I've been meaning to for some time now. Hell, I actually picked the Stan Lee DVD out randomly and thought what the hell when I watched it. Hugo is one of the most beautiful movies I've seen and I'm so happy I had a chance to see it on the big screen one summer.
