Read that book many times. I also have the audio book and listen to a story every night as I go to sleep. The stories are read by John Glover, they're fantastic with him!

I forgot to say I was reading Strangers by Dean Koontz. Finished that over the weekend and started up another near-700 page book, NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. I saw the start of the TV series awhile back, which inspired me to buy the book and so now I'm taking advantage of the staying-home to catch up on reading. It's very creepy, btw. But I've already gotten thru 150 pages since starting this weekend so it's definitely keeping my interest.

I've only read a few things from Dean Koontz. He's really pumping them out too lately, I like his older stuff. Joe Hill is pretty good, I like his short stories better than his novels, but I find short stories more enjoyable than full length books anyway.
My wife loved Heart Shaped Box though, so maybe I'll have to give this a try.

And I love Dean Koontz, if by older stuff, you mean late 80s, Strangers was published in 1986.

I think by the later 80's I was on my Stephen King kick. I know I didn't read Strangers, but The Funhouse and Whispers were good from 1980. He also wrote a lot of books in the 70's, usually under a pseudonym.
I've seen a few of the movies made from his books, but when I got into King I became kind of obsessed for a while there, lol.

Jerusalem's Lot is probably my favorite story, but I do like the quick ones too. Gray Matter and The Lawnmower Man are both great fast reads. The Lawnmower Man movie makes even less sense than it already did after you read the story, lol.
I've read both versions of the novel, the abridged and the unabridged version with 500 or so more pages added. It's a long, but very good book.
Funny thing is, I think I like the mini series better than the book now. Of course, I just recently saw the mini series and it's been years since I read the book. Enjoy man, a great read.

Finished NOS4A2 about a week and a half ago, it was great, for being a more creepy-ish read. Now I -really- wanna rewatch the first of the TV series and finish that too. After that, I started on The Martian Tales Trilogy by Edgar Rice Burroughs. (one book that has all 3-in-one, so technically the first book, A Princess of Mars)

Never saw an episode of the show, but it got pretty good reviews. Need to read the book one day. Never read any Burroughs either, but familiar with his stuff and themes. Need to get on that too, it's probably great stuff to a horror/sci fi fan.

Yeah, I've wanted to read the book ever since I saw the movie (John Carter) that came out in 2012. And it's just interesting to me because from what I've read, it's pretty much the first ever exploration into sci-fi, way before Star Wars and Star Trek and the like.

Finished Madame Xanadu - Enchanted and Exodus Noir. Starting Broken House of Cards next. Glad I finally finished this collection off. Been sitting on it far too long.
