Not a single player in the World Series took a knee last night, not one. What does the NFL do? Blames lack of viewers on "over-saturation" says they may stop airing Thursday Night Football.
The NFL needs to wake up, that's not the problem at all. I haven't really missed football all season, and I have no issues not watching next season either. Think it'll be NASCAR for me next year, they don't take knees either. No respect for my flag? I certainly won't give you ratings. fak the NFL, and I hate to say that because I really love football.
But, they want to keep it up, they'll continue to lose viewers. I may never watch again. Rant over, carry on.

I get it. but man is the NFL screwed, they are damned if the do and damned if they don't.
If they fire guys or bench them they risk being sued like colin kaepernick is doing now. They also risk huge loses in profit when you cut big players and you start to lose games. If you do nothing then you lose money from upset fans... hate to say it but the best move would be players in the locker room during the anthem and remove live performers from the game no more of these "singers" going out with their own political agenda... This all started because some white cops killed some black people now no one cares about that, we are talking about what these multi-million dollar assholes are doing before they touch a football.

Then what they should have done as a professional sports organization was to take the option out of the hands of the players. Taking a knee should never have been an option because it's disrepectful to the country, the flag, and the people that died to defend them.
It should never have been tolerated to begin with, but the NFL continued to let it happen. And, yes, now they're screwed. I love football, but I love my country more. Love to see the NFL go down in flames and I'm helping all I can.

I think it's a shame that it has gotten to this point.. the final decision will come and i think it will be either extreme or will be next to nothing and to be honest i think its leaning to next to nothing will be don't about it. If this happens i think it will fall on the networks hands and they will either go the route to show less of the games or they will cut the national anthem from the broadcast.

I agree that nothing will be done about it. But, I don't have to watch and I haven't.

I agree that nothing will be done about it. But, I don't have to watch and I haven't. I respect your protest, and i understand the NFL's situation is crappy and it sucks but i feel this falls more on the teams and the players responsibility. The backwards ass country we live in now unfortunately supports these athletes and the bullshit that do thats why when Kapernick started it he had the number one selling jersey in the NFL and the guy didnt even know what the football felt like.
