I mean, both teams deserve major kudos for making it to the Super Bowl. I don't take anything away from either team for that, it's the goal. Just not the teams I wanted and it makes it almost impossible for me to get excited about it. I don't care who wins, at all. I hate the Patriots and as a Skins fan, I hate the Eagles. Hope the halftime show is good at least.
My hubby said he may not even watch the game at all, because of that stupid kneeling thing still. Which is perfectly fine with me, I only suffered through the game to watch the commercials anyway. Last year they weren't all that great though, so if we don't watch, I don't think I'll be missing much either way...
(honestly, we will probably end up watching. -shrugs- It's kind of a sad thing now, because we were planning to invite his mom and brother over, but his brother was admitted into the hospital this past Monday night and has been there since, so he obviously won't be feeling up to coming over or even watching, most likely.)

The thing is, I really love football. Usually, I'll watch any game airing on Sunday even if I don't care about, or hate the teams, just to see football. All this crap this season ruined my season and pissed me off. And now, I don't know if I'll be back, because I really enjoyed going out and doing things on Sunday this season. I think a lot, not all but a lot, of the players are jackasses. And, I hate that they get paid as much as they do to just act like asses on and off the field. Again, I'm not including every player, some are seriously good people who use their money and time to help their communities and do really good things. But the ones that are bad people always seem to be the ones talked about and taking away from the good ones, that's a shame.
Way to celebrate the win with class Eagles fans. I'd say I wish the Patriots had won, but then these idiots would have done even more damage. And, that's it, officially done with football...fakking idiots.
Yeah, and meanwhile Kirk Cousins is ditched in Washington for Alex Smith. Couldn't give Cousins the money he wanted, and he's had 3 4000 plus yard seasons, but let's give Smith $77 million guaranteed. I hope Cousins goes somewhere and has a spectacular career and I hope he beats the Redskins asses every time he plays them. Too good a QB to be treated like that.
