It can't be as bad as some of the movies GP and myself have put each other through. My god, I've wanted to kick his ass sometimes. Which movies have we watched that made you want to kick my ass? I'm curious now.

Rubber. Yes, we both chose to watch that, but I would have never wanted to have seen it were it not for you!
I... might have blocked others out. I know when Manos started I wanted to knock you out because of that long ass opening.

I can't apologize enough for Rubber.
As for what I bought last (or ordered off Amazon as it were), The Basement: Retro 80's Horror Collection. 3 DVD's AND a VHS? How could I possibly say no?

Man Lee, that's quite a haul. I gotta keep a better eye out for some good deals on movies. Netflix just makes it so easy....speaking of that, I have to get more DVDs.

Went to Barnes & Noble to buy.... dvds. I get more dvds there than books of any sort, at least the one on Union Turnpike (which has a glorious dvd selection, hell, the Criterion Collection section alone is amazing, but too damn expensive). Found some decent sales there finally. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly 2 disc set with an extended cut of the movie. It was 50% $19.99. How could I say no? The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) 2 disc set. It was the same price as the single disc set, which was 50% off $14.99, so you tell me which one I should have bought. Land of the Dead unrated director's cut, finally. Haven't seen this in stores since Circuit City was still open. It was a full $12.99, but it was worth it because I've been jonesing to see this movie for a year now.

What's different about the director's cut?

Who knows.
I picked up Mortal Kombat today for $5. Could have picked up MK: Annihilation for the same price, but I already dropped some money on comics earlier in the day.

Anything more than $3 is too much for MK: Annihilation. I'll still buy it to laugh at how horrible it is though.

Sold some of my crappy movies to Book Off and got a whopping $11.70 for them. Used that to help pay for Ghost in the Shell, Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday and the Kickboxer collection,
Kickboxer is the most bare bones box set I have ever seen. But hey, $20 for 5 movies, with 2 of them directed by straight to video action king Albert Pyun? Couldn't say no to that.
