Wait is this a remake? It looks good but is it a remake... is this going to be a trend? It is indeed a remake Tony, new cast and all. Guess it's just easier than trying to come up with something original nowadays, but it does look good.

stephen king needs to give the crown to someone else.
you are kind of right endo, but not really. there are original movies but they get limited screenings or straight to dvd. this kind of remake trash gets center stage. not sure why? the reason is too convoluted and economic for me to understand.

I watch most of the newer original stuff that comes out, and honestly, at least to me, most of it sucks. So, I should have said easier than coming up with something good, and original. Don't get me wrong, there are some good ones, but for the most part, the newer original indie stuff stinks. IMO.

I still think he's good. I wish I had his inspiration. The last time I was really inspired was when I was super manic in 2006. I wrote constantly!!! hehe

idk... i have this feeling that they "tell us" what is good, because it makes money.
that shouldn't be the reason why it's good!

King, like a lot of other authors that have gotten really successful, still has some good ideas but just can't seem to finish anything solid anymore. I used to read all of his novels and short stories, but lately he just finishes so weakly I can't get into his stuff anymore. Back in the day, nobody could touch him for me, he was the best.

Oh man, Pet Semetary the book is so much better than the movie. Actually, all of his books have pretty much been better than the movies made from them. Like in Misery...what she does to him in the movie is nothing compared to the book. You might try some of his short stories, easy to read and they go really fast.
