The meaning behind the Martin Scorsese Film
I learned from that film that Jesus made suffering the prize or gain of life.
Every time you do something Good, you get suffering in return.
I really dislike Christianity.
I get it. And it works.
Except I think to myself.
This cross is so damn heavy!
And that's a good thing?
How do you come to terms with that?
I think that's what His Jewish friends were trying to say to him.
In the Film Judas was sent to kill him from the start.
They all knew what Jesus was about.
He was a dangerous man.
People just want to die.
It's perfectly understandable.
To be or not to be is the question?
So Jesus is all about life and everybody else is all about death.
So they tried to kill Jesus.
And then they couldn't so the Devil tried.
The Devil couldn't do it either.
In the Film, The Devil takes Jesus off the cross.
Then Jesus meets his friends again.
And they have changed their minds, or perhaps a twist of fate.
Like the Bob Dylan song.
Everybody wants life after all.
So Jesus puts himself back on the cross.
And he suffers and we all suffer and people live forever now.
However, I know the answer in the meantime is to have an Ego.
Doing good works is fine here and there.
Except waiting around on a cross is empty life.
Find your ego!
It's fixed.
It's on the top of your skull.
It's the long crack on your skull.
And once you find it, life gets easier.
Things you need come to you.
The waiting on the cross gets better.
Waiting.... what Am I waiting for?
For an ego!
I'm sure some of you know this. I finally figured it out. I went through hell to figure it out.
I have an Ego now. It's gonna be there with me, always.
