The haunted house from season one of American Horror Story The haunted house from the first season of American Horror Story also makes an appearance on AHS: Hotel. The house is located on 1120 Westchester Place in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, which is also its address on the show. The current owners are not thrilled about the house's notoriety, so don't trespass!

The Doyle house in Halloween This is the house in John Carpenter's Halloween where Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) was babysitting. At the end of the movie, Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) shot Michael Myers, who fell off the pictured balcony. Even though it looks like suburbia in the movie, the house is just steps from L.A.'s Sunset Strip at 1530 Orange Grove Avenue.

The Amityville Horror house One of the most infamous haunted houses in American history sat at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, Long Island, but the number has been changed to 108 to deter tourists. The house is said to be haunted, which is the basis of The Amityville Horror book and films. Unfortunately, the eyelike attic windows have been replaced with plain square ones.

The Potter Schoolhouse in The Birds It's hard to mistake for anything else the striking features of the Potter Schoolhouse from Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. The house on 17110 Bodega Lane in Bodega, California is now a private residence.

Regan MacNeil's house in The Exorcist If you want to see the location that made Linda Blair's head do a 360, check out the location for the MacNeil house. It still stands at 3600 Prospect Street in Georgetown, Washington D.C.

The Myers' house in Halloween Michael Myers' childhood home where he stabbed his older sister on Halloween night still stands in South Pasadena, California, but it had to be moved to escape demolition. It is on 1000 Mission Street and looks a lot friendlier with a fresh coat of paint.

Great posts! I've actually been to the stairs the priest is thrown down at the end of The Exorcist in Georgetown, when I used to go to see bands at the Bayou back in the day. I know it was just part of the movie, but it's a wicked set of stairs. And the night we went up them in the cold and rain, they were really creepy.
