Do you still get local channels with Dish? What's their NFL package like? I could live without the local news on TV, but not football.

Well so for one room and the dvr with hd tv all the local channels and free install plus the NFL ticket its 50 dollars I'm not sure if I get all the blackout games haven't looked into it but Im stuck because I have Comcast now with the internet bundled into it but direct doesn't offer this and I'm not sure if I want to use a company that uses wireless internet... 50 dollars or should i say as the guy from the company said doll hairs is damn near half the price of what I'm paying now

Sweet deal in your situation, it sounds like. I think I'm going to switch to Verizon. Everything for $84.99 a month. Phone, internet, and TV with HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax locked in for 2 years. It's the fios thing.

Anyway, season 2 starts Oct.16 on AMC, and from everything I read there is no let up at all. Right back into it full bore from the opening episode. Here's a cool pic I found from the upcoming season.

Me too Lee. This is the most excited I've been about a TV show in a long, long time. Props to AMC for doing it, and doing it right. Great gore, rough scenes, and none of it cut. Love it.

Not sure what you mean Tony. If you mean they cut the beginning of the comic book, you're probably right. I haven't read the comics. Been wanting to, just can't seem to find the time.

Yeah, you would miss a lot of the story not seeing the first season, plus it was great. You can catch up on the first season on AMC.com or Hulu...don't know where to see entire episodes though. Maybe NetFlix has season one DVD.
