It'd be tough for it to be worse.

I know I'm gonna get my azz kicked for saying this, but I actually liked the first one. I HATE that scene. It was pointless and a waste, and if I recall correctly, either 10 or 20 million dollars because it was 100% CG. Eff you MSJ. Eff you until you bleed.

Yeah, it was pretty pointless, they could have done more with it than just have him lead him to the town, but I still loved the flaming horse and rider. The entire movie was very comic book like, but that's what I expected so I wasn't disappointed. I plan on seeing the new one, I'm hoping it's a lot better than the first one. . . . . . . . . .

Oh, Carter Slade looked great. But we get, "Let me just ride along side you and go off to die instead of, you know, preserving my power for when you might need my help. Good luck, shithead." Near 22 years of being a Ghost Rider fan is hard on the heart. And just because they are awesome, I want to read a 100 issue long series based on these Ghost Riders: WW2 SoVs. Oh hell yeah! How is this not a series already?! On the road, again! Walker, Hellfire Ranger Eat your hearts out, Shang Chi and Iron Fist! Megadeth is still popular in the future, I see.

Undead G-Man and Knuckles O'Shaugnessy needs a series. Walker, Hellfire Ranger needs a series. And the WW2 Tank Crew need a series.
Those are books I want, no, books I NEED to read.

Those were the best parts of the issue, other than Tony Moore's art, of course. The end of the Ghost Rider series started in 2006 was lackluster. I know everyone praises Jason Aaron. I do, too. His work is slick, and a great out of the box grindhouse style writing when it comes to characters. He knows how to make exaggerations, comedy, gore, violence, a great combination. But my Ghost Rider will always be from the 1990s series, and had more street level crime than HOLYSHITDIDTHATJUSTHAPPEN supernatural storytelling. Of course, demons get involved. But Way and Aaron essentially made Rider damn near god like with all his power, able to take on who knows what. It was too much. I don't regret owning the Ghost Rider omnibus, but I don't plan on reading it regularly.

If they made those series, I would totally buy them.
