Saw both and remember very little about either. Neither blew me away or left a real mark on me, and I've never felt the need to have either one as part of my collection...but I'll go with the original, just because I figure it came out when the slasher flicks were all over and if I remember right, I liked it just that much better than the re-make. What about you guys and gals?

Undecided, because I've see neither films. Not that I don't want to. I like the concept to films like this.

I've seen both and I agree, neither exactly left that big of an impression on me. I prefer the remake though because I actually saw it in 3D in the theater and it was stupid fun.

That probably was fun. Cheesy, fun gore and horror in 3D. Sounds like a good time.

The original was one of the greatest slashers ever made. Dug the remake, but the original is worlds ahead.

I should probably rewatch the remake before voting, but I'm going with the original.
A lot of good kills, especially in the uncut version.
Canada knows its horror.
I love the miner costume for the killer.
Good story to go along with everything. Great whodunit as well. Up to a point, anyway, and then it becomes clear. Still, a classic that can't be truly beat.
