Sweet. Was hoping it would make it before Halloween was over.

I enjoyed the 2007 one up to a point, the young Michael in a modern day setting was a nice turn, so the first half as good. The rest of the film though when we got to adult Micheal and the re-hash of the original was a waste and terrible.
Due to having only the half the film time left, the second half felt rushed, poorly written with no characterization of the other characters and was like one glossy rush to get to the end of the film and ultimately disappointing.

Nice take on it. I far prefer the original to Zombies re-make, but I love the original so much, it would be hard to make it any better for me. Didn't hate Zombies version, but I liked the original much better.

That second Zombie Halloween is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I actually walked out of the theater in disgust.

All the young guys at work hated Halloween 2 by Zombie as well, and I'm talking 18 year olds. So, yeah, it must suck. I saw it and don't remember much of it, that tells me everything I need to know.

All the cool stuff he did was erased by how shitty that movie was. For crying out loud, MICHAEL MYERS WAS GRUNTING! HE DOESN'T MAKE NOISE!

I could have bought that for $5 also, but I've heard nothing but bad, so I didn't bite.

Watch it online or something, but don't pay for it. I was mad that I wasted whatever the breakdown on $7.99 for as many movies a month I can see is. Probably cost me under $2, and I was still miffed.

A true classic from one if not the greatest horror masters of film ever, John Carpenter.
The score is just as iconic for a reason.
Sure some bits are dated and a bit creepy without meaning to be, like what Lynda's boyfriend says when making a joke about tearing off Lindsey's clothes (eke!), but it's a must-see.
More of Dr. Sam Loomis's film than it is Laurie Strode's, if you ask me, but that's a whole other topic for another day.
See it if you haven't already.
