Dear lord, this is very close to being the worst movie I've ever seen. Just finished watching it about 10 minutes ago and I'm still RAGING.
Apparently, this "sequel" ignores that 2 and 3 ever happened and is full of terrible acting, shitty effects (save for the last 2 death scenes) and has the most unrealistic, awful and obnoxious characters in cinematic history.
The 1 good thing is the ending cameo by the original Angela herself, the gorgeous Felissa Rose. This movie is not so bad it's good, it's a disgrace to the fans, the source material and horror in general. The person who made this movie obviously didn't give a damn about the cult status of this film or the source material.
I'm going to pretend this travesty never happened. This is the kind of film made by someone who hates movies.
Sorry...rant over.

Don't be sorry, never know who you saved from watching this one. I know I won't be for sure, so thank you.

Well, this is disappointing, seeing the plans we had for it.

Glad to have spared you Dave.
This really is one of the absolute worst films ever. There are no likeable characters at all in it. I can't believe they got Vincent Pastore and Isaac Hayes to be in this mess.

If you do it, don't say you weren't warned. This thing is in The Pits of Hell for a reason.

Warning duly noted. And thanks. But I think I may have to.

Did you see the other 3 Sleepaway Camp films by any chance? If you did, then you'll realize why my hatred for this movie is so great. If you didn't, you'll still see what a horrible movie it is lol.

The worst of all I have seen this movie years ago and like you said it was pretty bad. I think I saw the first one only, can't remember very well. Is the second and the third movie worth a watch?

Very much so, yes. They're more goofy and straight slasher fare, but they are a lot of fun and you don't need to have seen the first to really enjoy it.

I saw this one back when it first came out. If I'm remembering right, it is a comedy slasher that is meant to be stupid and campy looking but funny, and is entertaining in that sort of way. It is not meant to be scary at all. This, in a way, reminds me of "Bloody Murder" with Trevor Moorehouse parodying Jason and the Friday the 13th sequels, with its share of reviewers having the wrong idea, calling it a rip-off of Jason and Friday the 13th, already not getting it's a parody of that. They were also complaining about it not being scary, not getting it was not meant to be. I also saw the original "Sleepaway Camp," which is some scary and intense stuff, and that ending really freaked me out when I first saw it, but this sequel is in a different direction from that. I also enjoyed Isaac Hayes' performance and dialogue in this one, and it's too bad he is no longer with us.
