Love it. I have the entire series and pilot movie on DVD. Great show, and can't believe it hasn't been mentioned before now. Thanks for the thread:)

Gotta post more on this, lol. This series was great, but the pilot movie was awesome. My favorite story is the one with Roddy McDowell. That was scary the first time I saw it. Heck, it's scary now, lol. Buying the entire set on DVD was one of the best buys I've ever made.

I totally agree with you - I never forgot the story with Roddy McDowall, very creepy!!! By far my favorite from the series.

From the comments I've seen all over the Internet wherever this show is discussed, most people bring up that episode as one of their favorites. I may not remember too many of the episodes in any detail after all these years, but this one left a lasting impression on me.

The whole pilot movie is great, but this story steals the show, IMO.

I agree 100% - good stories and good casting, particularly Roddy McDowall & Ossie Davis.

I saw "The Doll" the other night. Probably my favorite episode from the actual series. And one of the scariest dolls ever. Feel free to watch the other episodes, they're good as well, but The Doll starts at 30:10. Awesome episode.

Is that a Phyllis Diller doll?

No, but it does look like her, lol. Good, scary episode there. The doll at the end is pretty scary too.

I never really got into this show, despite my love and admiration for Serling's Twilight Zone. I'd like to watch each episode though. I have seen the one with Joan Crawford. Directed by Steven Spielberg, no less. I've also seen one about a bar being torn down.
I do love that Rod Serling would stand in front of a painting and introduce the stories. Here's an article showing each one: Gallery of Night Gallery Paintings

The Joan Crawford story was from from the pilot movie. The one about her buying a guys eyes so she could see again. The one with the bar is They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar. Not a favorite episode of mine, but a good one. Night Gallery used to be on Hulu but they removed it a little while back. I need to get the DVD set I have of it on my PC so I can watch it on Plex, some good episodes and they got some big name stars on for the time. Great article too MacReadyOrNot.
