I remember always seeing the old vhs cover with the guy getting his head drilled thinking it was so cool but when i rented it finally it ended up being one of those movies where the cover is way cooler than the movie it self is. This use to happen all the time during the VHS boom see Lunchmeat, Driller Killer, slaughter house ect. there are many of thses tool box murders. agreed

gorepolice, you can buy driller killer from amazon video for 49 cents cheaper than if you had a 7 day rental. I have a theory that they assume you're not going to to buy it after you rent it, but you might want to rent it before you buy it. The version on there is kinda dark, so I'm not sure if it was the copy they put to the movie or it is like that now. Without giving too much away (as we haven't even made it through all of it yet...) I've got a theory that someone had an idea to try to promote a band and get them noticed through a movie genre they thought would be super appealing ... almost maybe like they made the movie just to put the band in so they could get the band noticed. It was taking us all night to get to the point where we got (due to it being a busy night/morning.) So far, it's almost like I feel I need to be tripping to understand some of the parts, but I'll probably know more when we finish it ..I don't even think we're halfway - although we might be just at halfway.

I do own it, it's just that I have about 600 movies to watch between Netflix and my actual collection. I'm sure I'll watch it by the end of the year, especially since it keeps coming up around here lol.

Not lies so much as...potentially empty promises.

Would love to know what everyone has for their horror movie list on netflix that is still on it. I'm still searching for the older cult and exploitation / classics and stuff since the newer ones are easier to find on there, but if there's a recommendation for old or new would be great that you can find on netflix. Amazon is carrying some that I don't remember them having a couple months ago. It's where we watched mandiga (instead of opening the box ) lol Driller Killer that I mentioned for 2 bucks ... still gotta get through it, maybe I'll see if DBA is up for trying when he gets off in the morning. I do enjoy seeing him bouncing around pretending to get into the band that's playing - that part was entertaining me the most at least at the point where at where the band plays every other minute. lol

My wife has some exercise videos coming, but first I moved Beyond The Door to the top and that should be here Monday. If I remember it pretty much sucks, but it has been so long I wanted to see it again. What movies have you tried that are gone now? Are they free domain movies now? I once asked why I couldn't get The Brain That Wouldn't Die and it was because it was free domain and anyone could watch it legally for free.

We have Beyond the door part 1 although it seems part 2 is really good obviously and part 3 isn't good either, but I plan to watch all three. I don't remember all of them ... I had them all in my queue and half of them said that they would be available until May 1st, then when I was checking the other movies I came across the May 20th date along the way. I don't even remember most of the movie names right now. I don't know if they are free domain movies ... I'll have to ask DBA about that. I don't think they are, because some of them are really expensive on ebay and amazon and that's why I wanted to watch them first (which doesn't mean they're not free domain if they're just hard to find) but amazon may take on some of them when I keep remembering what was lost. I just go searching when I come across a title I wanted to see (or may have already and don't remember until I watch it again.) lol
