I think I finally found every issue of Tales From The Crypt, The Vault Of Horror and The Haunt of Fear. Got them as a download. They're scans of the originals, and I'd much rather have a physical copy in my hand, but this works. At least I can read them.

The art was surprisingly good for many of those issues considering the years they were released. A lot of comics of that time, especially cape books, had a certain look. Clean, crisp, easily readable. But a lot of these stories had some great, gritty art ahead of its time, something that didn't become more common until the 70s, and revived and expanded on in the 90s, and revived once again today (Sean Gordan Murphy is a freakin' god).

Johnny Craig and Graham Ingles were way ahead of their time. Love the art in these comics. Which comics does Murphy draw for? I'd like to see his work.

Just checked his page and yeah, he's awesome. Does he do the new House of Mystery by Vertigo? Looks familiar.

No. He did Joe the Barbarian and American Vampire: Survival of the Fittest.

He'd fit right in in horror. Just has the style of drawing that would work, I think.

Saw the regular one by King and Snyder. Looks ok. The artists' name is Rafael Albuquerque. What do I search for to see Murphy's work?

Check his wikipedia page for his work. Albuquerque is a good one as well. I really like how different his work from Blue Beetle to American Vampire is. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Murphy_%28artist%29I hope SGM can do a Batbook one day. That would be a lot of fun.
