"The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by new found allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun." www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movie/resident-evil-retributionHave to hear more on this. The trailer looks OK, but man, they're running this into the ground. We'll see.

2nd part was the only decent one. All the others have been awful. Hell, Revelations would've only been 40 minutes long if half the movie wasn't in slow motion.
I won't even lie, I do watch them just to see how awful they are. I hope Wesker comes back in this one, he didn't get nearly enough time in the last film.

It at least looks better than the last one, though that wouldn't take much to accomplish. So it seems we have Jill and Wesker, and was that Leon I saw for a split second?

Still liked the first one best, but I can see people liking the second better. Have to wait and see on this one. I think after 1 and 2 I didn't even bother NetFlixing them, just waited til they were on TV.
The entire franchise wasn't what I was hoping for, I wanted it more like the game. How they could have done that, and succeeded, I don't know. But that's what I wanted.

2 was awesome cuz it had Nemesis. How can you not love an 8 foot tall zombie with a rocket launcher?

That's a selling point in any movie. Hell, I'd go out and watch Pride and Prejudice if it had an 8 foot tall Rocket Launcher toting zombie in it.

We need to somehow get this point across to Hollywood!

For some reason, ive never been a huge fan of the RE franchise. Maybe its the CGI, maybe its because its based on a game,...i dunno, but ive only ever watched the first one.

Rest assured, you're not missing out. Both fans and non-fans of the game will tell you that this series is awful. How they even got to make a 5th film is beyond me.
