So, this new OS is designed for touchscreens, but supposedly works fine with a mouse and keyboard.
Man, I still like XP. The only reason I have 7 is because most drivers have left XP in the dust and nothing works there anymore. I really don't think I have it in me right now to upgrade to another OS, so I hope 7 support continues for a while. Microsoft says XP support is good until 2014, but they lie.

I know a lot of people are already up in arms because not only is 7 still relatively young, 8 is not very good for those who like to game on their PC.

I thought it was kind of soon for a new release too. I think it was all the touchscreen things coming out, they wanted an OS out that could take advantage of that and get more people to spend. I'm kind of OCD and it drives me nuts having fingerprints on the screen of my phone, lol. I could only imagine if I had a touchscreen monitor.

I'm bad enough with a laptop, so having a touch screen computer would drive me up the wall.

Wow, who knew I'd one day be happy to have Vista?

My wife had Vista on her last laptop, I didn't hate it. I had to turn off the UAC thing, that drove me nuts. But, other than that it was OK. Her laptop really sucked, but that was hardware related.

Lol, User Account Control. Her laptop would bug you about everything. You sure you want to install this, log on here, allow this, drove us crazy. Once I figured out how to turn that off, it got much better.
