What's going on with this world? Word is he was on a drug whose street name is "bath salts".
I've seen the pics of the homeless guy after, and the guy really chowed down on him.

I feel so bad for the man. But somehow I always knew the apocalypse would begin in Miami... Huge city with millions of tourists. That just spells trouble.

From what I've read the drug the face eater was on, "bath salts", is almost like PCP. Supposedly it makes normal people that wouldn't hurt a fly into raging maniacs.
By all accounts the guy that attacked the homeless man was a decent guy. Must be a hell of a drug.

There have been more reported cannibalistic attacks coming out now. One lady ate her baby then stabbed herself, another man stabbed a guy with an ice pick then ate his insides, etc. Personally had I been using this drug after hearing about the face being consumed I'd have stopped using that second... Also the bath salts are said to deactivate at anytime... Scary stuff right there.
